About
More Than Pet People
Home Away Dog Ranch was created to provide all dogs and dog parents convenient services, care and support they need and deserve. Located on 25 rural acres with a brand new facility, your dog will have a private room with indoor/outdoor access and group play areas.
We are open every day including weekends and holidays. We provide pick-up and drop-off service in town, farm-to-kennel goodies, and spa services.
We are committed to sustainability and land stewardship. We source our supplies from ethical vendors and grow many of our treats right here. The owners live on-site and the entire property is solar powered.

Our Services
Daycare and Boarding
We offer care by the day or for extended stays. We pride ourselves on our professional yet fun approach, and cater to your pet's individual needs.

These services include meal time, lots of of love and group play time, and tuck in service for our overnight guests.
​
Daycare: $25/dog (7:30 am-6:30 pm)
Boarding: $35/dog (24 hour period)

Transportation
The dog ranch is located 12 miles NE of Sheridan on 25 open acres. We understand that time is a luxury and we want to give you your time back.
We offer morning pick-up and evening drop-off at Buck's Travel stop, near the 5th exit during times that are convenient for working people. Your dog will love riding in the doggy adventure van!!

Farm-to-Kennel Treats
For an extra treat, we offer home made snacks including:

Toast and scrambled egg

A variety of dog biscuits/cookies (with or without grain)

Bone broth popsicles

Wild game jerky

And more!
We use locally sourced ingredients, many of which are grown on site.

Prices vary: $1-4 per treat
Bathing
We offer bathing and blow dry services so your furry friend can go home looking and feeling their best. We use only the safest products, and finish with our farm-to-kennel lavender paw rub.

Kurt has been breeding and training his beloved German Shorthaired Pointers, and guiding hunters with them since 2009. You could call him a real dog whisperer.
